Generally, my brain works as Plan A if not then B, maybe a C and a D if need be. What in case the first one doesn’t work?
But Jack Reacher thinks otherwise.
No Plan B is the 27th addition to the Jack Reacher series and 3rd since Andrew Child started contributing as an author alongside Lee Child. I bought my copy from Amazon.in.
The ‘Lee’ Reacher versus the ‘Andrew’ Reacher…
The former one was very serious. Spoke minimal. The latter, the new Jack Reacher, has a distinct sense of humour despite seriousness. Speaks more sentences than the older version. Both think alike: Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
As always, an intriguing plot. Many correlations–Linear, Non-Linear, Perfect Positive, Perfect Negative, Simple, Multiple, Partial. Yet another crime syndicate is exposed. In depth descriptions of some of the events in the chapters like the accident. I had to take a pause, a long one, so as not to puke thinking about the gruesome picture created in my head.
A few quotes that are etched on my mind…
If something seems too good to be true, then it is too good to be true. Very true.
Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. That’s right!
When you are in a hole, stop digging. Hmmm, interesting.
And that’s me reading No Plan B.
And that’s my Jack Reacher collection, a prime possession.
Speaking of prime, both Prime Video and Netflix have the Tom Cruise movie versions of Jack Reacher books — One Shot and Never Go Back. I personally loved both the movies and have repeat-watched each. Prime Video has Reacher Season 1: Killing Floor (8 Episodes) starring Alan Ritchson. Enjoyed watching the series. Revisited every chapter in the book. Casting was just perfect. Waiting for Season 2.
Looking forward to adding more Reacher Books to my collection in the coming years…
Till then, happy reading. Take Care. Stay Safe.
